If you take the CPR/AED and First Aid course through ASN, you will have an opportunity to receive an official American Heart Association certification card in electronic format. You will be asked at the end of the course if you want to order a card, which costs $25 (less than the payout you get for attending the class). It can be payroll deducted or paid by cash or check. If you don't request the card, you will sign a form verifying that you were offered a chance to receive it.
You have two business days from when you took the course to decide to order the card. (For a class on Thursday, you have through Monday.) After that, we can provide a certificate of completion for you but it will not be an official American Heart Association document and may not be accepted by other organizations.
